Community Information
Rose Hill Plantation is a 1,700-acre private community located in Bluffton, South Carolina. The community is divided by Highway 278, with the north side known as the "golf course side" and the south side known as the "estate side". Although there is a 27-hole golf course within the gates of the community, the golf club ceased operation in early 2006. It is hoped that the course will open again by early 2007.
Rose Hill is well-known for its Equestrian Center, polo fields, and riding trails. From April through November Rose Hill hosts weekend polo matches, a favorite tailgating event for residents of Hilton Head and Bluffton.
